Pistis Energy Nexus is an international raw materials trading company specializing in the sourcing, marketing, and distribution of strategic metals and ores. Our core trading portfolio includes Nickel MHP, Aluminum ingot (A7), and Copper Mat, serving industrial clients across global markets.

Headquartered in Jakarta, Indonesia, with a regional head office in Pohang, South Korea, we operate at the intersection of resource producers and end users, ensuring reliable supply chains, transparent transactions, and long-term value creation for all stakeholders.

We also specialize in planning, development, implementation, and management of domestic and overseas energy projects with core competencies and expertise on research and development (R&D), project planning and strategizing, project structuring and management, and financial structuring.

As part of our strategic role in the metals value chain, Pistis Energy Nexus holds the sole and exclusive trading rights granted by PT. Pistis Ecopower Group for the commercialization of its nickel ore and other natural resources extracted from mining operations in Sulawesi and Maluku, Indonesia. This exclusivity allows us to manage market access, logistics, and customer relationships with consistency, accountability, and efficiency.

Isaiah Choongsil Lee

Isaiah Choongsil Lee specializes in management of energy companies with more than 20 years of experience as founders and CEOs of various companies in the areas of nickel mining development and operation, nickel production facilities development, nickel export, fintech, etc. Before joining Pistis, he was the Indonesia representative of Taelim Co. Ltd., a partner company of EcoPro Co., Ltd. in Korea for nickel production and exports. With expertise in management of energy company, he runs and overseas operation of Pistis.

Isaiah holds MDiv. from Talbot School of Theology and earned his MA in Social Welfare at Chung-Ang University. He received his BA in Economics & Politics from Handong Global University. Besides business, he leads Team Boaz, a charity NGO helping Indonesian children for equal educational opportunities for more than 10 years.

Jeffrey Choi

Jeffrey Choi specializes in planning, development, implementation, and management of international energy infrastructure projects, delivering solutions with effective investment and financing strategies with more than 20 years of field experience and expertise. Before joining Pistis, He held various leadership positions in such institutions as GOs, PMCs, Universities, and the Military in Korea, Australia, and Indonesia.

Jeffrey studied a PhD program in International Relations at the Australian National University as an Endeavour Award Scholar of the Australian Government. He received his MA in International Relations from the International University of Japan as a Japanese Government's Monbukakusho Scholar and holds a BA in International Studies and English from Handong Global University. He served the Republic of Korea Navy as a commisioned officer.

Jaeyoung Lee

Jaeyoung Lee is a Professor in the Department of Mechanical and Control Engineering at Handong Global University and a Specially Appointed Professor at POSCO. As the CTO at Pistis, he plays a key role in translating advanced engineering research into commercially viable solutions, leading the company’s R&D strategy, technology development, and commercialization of energy infrastructure projects.

With a Ph.D. in Nuclear Engineering from KAIST, Professor Lee brings deep technical expertise in thermal-hydraulics and nonlinear dynamics and control to the development of safe, efficient, and scalable energy systems. His work focuses on the practical deployment of technologies related to complex thermo-fluid systems, energy conversion and storage, and industrial safety, ensuring technical reliability and operational performance.

As Pistis addresses the global challenges of energy transition and industrial safety, Professor Lee integrates academic insight with real-world execution to drive innovation from concept to market. He is committed to delivering engineering solutions that create long-term business value while meeting public, regulatory, and sustainability expectations, supporting Pistis’s growth as a competitive and responsible energy infrastructure developer.
